It is generally a good rule of thumb that a little truth is contained
in a lie. The same holds true for legends and mythology, which

Dear Readers:
I have thought long and hard about the advisability of adding an Editorial page to Journal of Frontier
Science. My worse fear would be branching off in a direction contradictory to JFS' stated mission of
"case study / peer review, history, and education" in other words "going off on a tangent". As good
as other Ufology sites are, I want JFS to be different, special, and beneficial to the Ufologist and the
lay person.
An editorial page for a magazine like JFS would need to be complimentary to its mission. I was, at
first, unsure this could be done. I then realized soon after that most editorials put forth a specific
thought process or hypothesis and attempt to substantiate it. This encourages debate, consideration
of possibly opposing positions within the mind of the reader, and forces the reader to think more
in-depth about a subject or possibility they might not have considered otherwise. This would
complement a more well-rounded Ufologist.
That said, please join the JFS staff and other readers in utilizing and enjoying the Editorial page, and
if you have something to contribute, send it to Publisher@FrontierScience.us with the word
"Editorial" in the subject line.
