I have been going over the high definition panoramic pictures from the Apollo 15 moon mission and I have found
many strange object on the horizon of each picture. A few of the pictures have been blacked out on the horizon but
the ones that fell through the cracks have objects in the background.
Part of the Apollo 15 mission was to collect samples by extensively using the LRV [ Lunar Roving Vehicle] which
traveled a total of 17 miles on the lunar surface. Of course the high definition photos were taken by one of the three
astronauts. Google Moon has all of this information on their site and all pictures are copyright of Google.
July of 1971 was the mission date and the mission lasted 12 days, including 74 orbits around the moon. Viewing
these photos from Google Moon's web site will give you a better view of the mission photos and Apollo 17 pictures of
objects on the horizon are included in these pictures from the site. Just zoom in on the horizon and you will see that
some photos are blacked out on the horizon and some are not.
