The Academie d’Ufologie, also known as the Academy of Ufology is a private, international association geared toward
sharing knowledge of the science of Ufology.  According to the Academy’s website, it defines Ufology as research on
reports of Unidentified Flying Object sightings by people convinced that the reports of "non identified" sightings might
be explained differently than as only confusions and mind inventions.  In other words, the members of the Academy
accept that extraterrestrial civilizations exist and are visiting this planet for reasons known only to them.  Academy
members study all aspects of the UFO phenomenon, to include science and technology (propulsion, navigation, ship
construction, alloys and fabrics used in the design and function of their technology, etc.), their purposes for visiting
Earth, alien sociology, biology, etc.

Members of the Academy include such Ufology heavyweights as Bruce Maccabee, Stanton Friedman, Robert
Emenegger, Ruben Uriarte, Jim Demanche, and Alejandro Rojas.

Not only does the Academy come together to share information and promote peer review, but according to it’s stated
Code of Ethics, it’s members are encouraged to contribute to the progression of research on reports of UFO
observations, by the contribution of its knowledge and its participation in the activities of the Academy of Ufology.
Members are also required to display respect for differing viewpoints within Ufology, which is known for it’s wide range
of theories and opinions to explain the UFO phenomenon.

Interested members can learn more about the Academy of Ufology by visiting it’s website at
