I have always been told to look at things from as many points of view as possible, given the circumstances. I have
spent many a day considering and researching such as the Roswell Incident, and have considered how far the U.S.
Government is involved. In my opinion, UFO’s are a reality. Some UFO’s are intelligently controlled. And some of
those intelligently controlled UFO’s are not of this Earth. So what does a government do when facing a seemingly
more technically advanced race, a force its own people is not told the truth of? And a force that could just as easily
be friend or foe.
Out of necessity, you would have to conceal something like the Roswell Incident. In 1947, an alien craft reportedly
crashed outside of Roswell, New Mexico. The U.S. Government recovered the remnants of an alien spaceship with its
incredible technology, and reportedly at least one living extraterrestrial biological entity, i.e.: an alien.

In 1947, the greatest war Mankind has ever known had just
ended. A Cold War was developing between the two
strongest nations in the world, the USA and the USSR.
Both nations had opposing ideologies, and both believed
that their very survival hinged on the containment or defeat
of the other. World War II had shattered America’s
innocence and the world appeared differently now through
our eyes, more sinister. Russia had once again been on the
brink of defeat, had an enemy within its borders, and due to
a combination of factors had crushed the invaders. The
psychological impact on the American public not
withstanding, the recovery of an alien craft and access to its
technology is an incredible intelligence coups. As such,
numerous countries’ intelligence apparatus would move into
full swing in America’s direction, making it close to
impossible to hide any technological advances gained. The
USSR would most certainly be leading the pack.
Let us look into this from two directions. The first point of view is that the alien race in question is friendly and
wishing to expand relations with at least America, maybe the entire Human race. The second point of view is that the
alien force is confrontational, even hostile. Both are probable and both should be considered.
A FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIP
Many envision a positive relationship with alien civilizations. Some even look to alien civilizations to solve Mankind’s
problems. Aliens would bring an end to wars, famine, disease, maybe even obesity (ever see an overweight Gray? or
a Gray with a cold?).
So we have a situation where friendly aliens have inadvertently crashed near an American population center. At least
one alien survived the impact and is more than willing to share information about their civilization, ideology, culture,
and technology.
The problem is that the Earth is still a divided world. America just came out of a second world war, and is entering a
cold war with the USSR. We would soon have disagreements (to say the least) with Cuba, North Korea, North
Vietnam, China, Iraq, and Iran, to name a few. This is not an environment that lends itself to America sharing its
technology.
If America maintains plausible deniability, it would be easier to throw other intelligence agencies off the track,
especially if rumors are circulated that confuse the scent, so to speak. We can only imagine what would happen if an
enemy intelligence apparatus or one that is less than trustworthy (are not they all?) was able to supply its
government or it’s employer with advanced technology, the likes of which could rapidly subjugate the United States.
Needless to say, our quality of life would be extremely affected negatively!
AN ADVERSARIAL RELATIONSHIP
Serious UFO investigators and researchers believe that our relationship with the intelligence that controls these
unidentified crafts is adversarial at best. The government of the United States of America is mandated to protect its
citizens and their livelihood. One of the major factors to be considered is the psychological impact its citizens would
experience. Studies by the Rand Corporation have yielded interesting results in the area of citizen reaction to a
belligerent advanced entity. Public morale would stagger, religion would be detrimentally affected, and the
government’s ability to govern its people would be lessened. True or not, every alien abduction story, every account
of aliens capturing a person and performing painful medical tests on them would be given complete credibility by the
American public.
Some people would lose their belief in a higher being, and could begin to give credence to various other beliefs, such
as the completely unsubstantiated theory that human beings were created in a lab experiment by the very entities
that crashed in the New Mexico desert in 1947. What could that mean to the collective human ego? That continues
to be an unexplored arena of study. In my opinion, if these alien beings cannot keep their ships from crashing, how
can we believe that they created so much beauty? I, myself, would much prefer to believe in an omnipotent,
omniscient Creator.
TOTAL WAR WITH EXTRATERRESTRIALS
One position that is not given much consideration by serious ufologists is the possibility that our world is already at
war with an alien race. It may seem like a crazy assumption, since we have not seen much in the way of collateral
damage, but a serious researcher considers every option.
It is a known fact that many governments, including the United States, have on occasion given their military standing
orders to shoot down any UFO whenever possible. This is not a light undertaking, and not without consequence. A
government typically does not order the downing and possible killing of another without much consideration of the
ramifications.
Throughout history, many military aircraft have engaged UFO’s, and a number of the aircraft have crashed or
disappeared during the engagement. Take for example the Air National Guard pilot of a P-51 Mustang that crashed
while tracking a UFO. On January 7, 1948, a UFO was sighted over Kentucky, and calls from worried civilian witnesses
went out to the Kentucky State Police and nearby Fort Knox airfield. Meanwhile, a flight of four P-51 Mustangs from
the Kentucky Air National Guard were enroute on a cross-country flight. This flight was diverted to the last known
coordinates of the UFO. Upon obtaining a visual, the flight of Mustangs pursued the UFO, which was on an upward
trajectory. One of the aircraft returned to base due to low fuel. As the chase progressed into higher altitudes, two
more of the aircraft that were not equipped with oxygen had to turn back. The remaining pursuit pilot, Captain
Thomas Mantell, continued on, describing the object as he got closer. Minutes later, his aircraft crashed, killing him.
Could Mantell have been shot down? Or led to the higher altitude by the aliens who knew he would soon black out if
he continued? The official USAF explanation for the accident is that Captain Mantell had misidentified and was
pursuing a balloon, had proceeded beyond oxygen range, and had blacked out, causing him to crash, i.e.: pilot error.
In other words, the Air Force sacrifices one of it’s own by making this U.S. Army Air Forces and USAF-trained and
battle-tested pilot with over 2,000 hours in the air, who flew in the Battle of Normandy, appear incompetent to
recognize a weather balloon.
Recall the UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico, and the attempt to make the wreckage appear to be that of another
weather balloon and humiliate one of their own, Captain Jesse Marcell. One would realize that this was not the first
time the military hung one of it’s own out to dry, so to speak. Captain Marcell was attached to the 509th Bomb
Group based at Roswell Army Air Field in New Mexico, the first nuclear Bomb Group in the world, and the unit
responsible for the atomic bombing of Japan. Marcell was assigned as the unit’s intelligence officer. It would suffice
to say that only the best and most highly trained personnel in any one field would be assigned to the only nuclear
bomb unit in the world. USAF would like us to believe, though, that one of their most highly qualified officers would
not recognize weather balloons that are constantly launched out of Roswell AAF. These same balloons were
recognized by civilians in the area, who regularly returned them to the base and claimed a reward. It wasn’t hard to
recognize a weather balloon, since they were prominently stamped with the words “Property of the U.S. Air Force”
and a phone number to contact the base with. We are to believe that Marcell was this incompetent? By the way,
Jesse Marcell was promoted to the rank of Major shortly thereafter. Why promote an incompetent officer?
Consider for a moment that if the above story is factual, and based on research by ufologist Stanton Friedman and
documented in his book “Crash at Corona” it is, how would Americans react if they found that their government
recovered a living representative of an alien race, captured and imprisoned it, and possibly tortured it?
A lot of Americans try to inject humanity into everything, even something as inhumane as war. When faced with
what is at least an adversarial relationship with an alien race, they will most likely try to introduce that same belief
system into the treatment of a representative of that same belligerent race. Basically, they will insist that aliens have
the same rights as Humans.
The few principals within the American government who manage the alien condition have given consideration to public
reaction to a revelation such as this. A true secret is that held by only one person. As soon as another knows the
secret, it is no longer a secret. It is a fact that is held close. As with all facts, this one will also one day see the light
of day. Even though their decisions might have been the only options open to them and they felt them to be the
best under the circumstances, once this fact is known, history will start judging these individuals and their actions.
This is not one of those incidents that can be done over. The decisions made a generation before must therefore be
perpetuated and maintained.
The idea of outright war with aliens seems presumptuous. With the technology that UFO's have consistently
demonstrated, such as the ability to outperform state of the art military aircraft, the capability to release an
electromagnetic pulse-like emission that shuts down the electronics of planes and automobiles, and the apparent
ability almost, if not exactly, to disappear at any moment, UFO's and the intelligences behind them have little need to
engage this world's military machine. It is apparent that the alien intelligences can simply take whatever it is that they
are here for without prejudice. We simply cannot keep up! IF this is the case, war is imminent, and will start
specifically the day after this world can field comparable technology in a defensive posture, thereby hindering or
thwarting the alien attempts to harvest their quarry.
